I started by making three piles - save, hmmmm, and donate. Ok, four piles - I have to admit to the "why-on-earth-have-you-saved-this?-THROW-IT-AWAY!" pile. Furniture had to be moved from room to room to provide sensible storage. Dust had to be dealt with... and most of the job was done single-handed. My other hand was holding a tissue to my Rudolph-esque nose.
Throughout the job, I kept seeing this old puzzle I bought a few weeks ago. It's a map of the United States - all 48 of them! The tattered box is an awkward size and very dusty, so it doesn't have an assigned home...yet. It just sits there talking to me.
Yes... I said "talking to me." Every time I see this puzzle, this is what I hear:
I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Philippians 4:11
Appropriate words for a snuffy, grumpy cleaning woman, huh?
