Drawing Lab #8 (from the book) shows Imaginary Creatures that grow from random paint marks like these...

...that you turn in every direction until something pops out at you. Then, with the help of a pen, and anything else that happens to be nearby, an imaginary creature comes to life. Good for the imagination... and fun besides!

Then there is Milliande, who takes a piece of paper, does outrageous things and ends up with faces and amazing art! She seems to just push strange color combinations of paint around and suddenly a wonderful face appears. It is fascinating to watch - and inspiring enough to make me want to try it myself.
So I did. I tried...

It's ok. You can laugh. I did the whole time I worked. But I know that I'll be doing this again... and again!
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Psalm 119:130
