But nearly perfect is not good enough. I could have handled the no zipper pocket issue, but the premature wear on the fabric re-e-e-e-eally bothered me.
The solution? Write the first one off as a learning experience and make another one. I added a zipper pocket, a floral flap closure, did some resizing and this how it looks.
I'll give this a trial run. Sometimes it's nice to be the guinea pig.

This has GOT to be the most beautiful purse I have ever seen... how in the world did you make that floral flap? Looks like a lot of time was invested. Beautiful!
Well Aunt Barb, I might just have to see if I can get the family discount on a purse. Mom was telling me about the great purses you make. I esp. liked your AZ version of a purse:) I enjoyed reading some of your blog posts. Maybe the Nackoul/Klink family should get in on this blogging thing!!
